Day 3 of our week of THANKS (giveaway) and TWO CARDS

Oh is it really Wednesday today?

And is November already almost over?

WOW, seriously time is flying.

Today is Day 3 of our week of thanks.  Today I am thankful for an awesome school for my kids to go to.  Here in Maricopa (AZ) it seems there are schools on every corner.  There are several public schools and several Chartered schools and then a huge high school.  But my kids school is amazing.  I think that is why I like to volunteer so much.  Yesterday I volunteered for a 3rd grade Greek Olympic activity.  The 3rd grade got to dress in dress up and then play outside for 2 hours, doing sack races, dodge ball, an obstacle course and more.  It was super fun.  The principles (for both the elementary and high school - grade k-12 go to the same school) stand at the entrance gate every morning and welcome all the kids.  They already know both of my kids by name.  I am just thankful to be a part of an awesome school.  I am excited to have all my kids go there.

What are you thankful for today?

Check out the giveaway details here.

Next up is our crafty projects.  Karen and Erin are sharing their creations today.

Today I am thankful for a job that always keeps me employed and busy and that I can work from home and be here with my family even when I am working.

I'm thankful my job - its frustrating, challenging, a chance to meet and work with caring people -- and a way to support my family. When so many are looking for a job, I'm lucky to have this one.

More beautiful cards! Today, I am thankful for all the wonderful extended family and many friends we have - both the ones we have had for years in our old home, and the new ones we have begun to make in the past 2 months since moving.

Leeanne! I know what you mean. I, too, am so thankful and happy with DD's school. Yes, our principal also stands at the door and greats us every morning. It is such a great way to approach him informally about important things. Our school also encourages parent participation, so cool. On Dec 5th I will go and make Christmas cards with 22 1st graders. How much fun will that be!

There are so many things I am thankful for. Our kids, I still have a job (our neighbor lost his job due to downsizing of the company), we are healthy and I have got this great hobby which gives me so much joy and pleasure.

And then I am thankful for people like you who put on challenges and inspire me on a daily basis.

I bet the teachers and principals are thankful for your help too! I wish I could volunteer at my boys' school but the full time work keeps me away... Oh, and I'm thankful for YOU! I love being on this team, and thank my lucky stars each and every time I create with the kits.

Those yellows are gorgeous! It's my favorite color!

Today I am thankful for my wonderful kids. I wasn't able to make my little guys show in school, but my oldest daughter was able to stand in for me. And thankfully, she knows how I am with pictures...so for a 45 minute show, I have 140 pictures! It's almost like I was there!

Such beautiful cards! I woke up today feeling thankful for my health. Of course, there are always areas in which it could improve, but i am working hard every day to do that, and scrapbooking is always great therapy for my too often tired mind :)

I am thankful for my health.. I had a lot of scares during my pregnancies with both of my babies and am fortunate enough to have fully recovered without a problem at all. :)
