Boy oh boy was I productive yesterday.
I didn't finish all my tasks but I did get a bunch of them done.
I feel accomplished for what I did get done in one day.
Now it is back to work for the week.
My last week in my current position. I can't wait until it's over, lol!!
It is my one day off this week and I have a lot to do.
Laundry and grocery shopping as well as several homework assignments.
I will have to remain motivated today in order to get it all done. Coffee and small cat naps will be very important today!! LOL!!

Sandi created some amazing projects this month using our August card kit. I hope she inspired you!!
Thanks for stopping by!! We will have more inspiration tomorrow so be sure to stop by.
Have a wonderful day!!
It has been one week since my fall session of school started.
Last night I went to my first PTO meeting as part of the board (I am PTO treasurer).
I have been working 6 day work weeks for the last 3 weeks.
I have also been volunteering an hour a day at my kids school for the last 3 weeks.
I am totally ready for a break but won't have one until next weekend.
Next Friday will be my last day in my current position at work and then the day after Labor Day I will start a new position with the same company. The hours I will be working will be ideal for my busy schedule and I am excited to get that started.
So we have a few more days of inspiration using our August kits.
September 1st we will have our new kit reveal and we will also be having another DT call coming soon for our November thru April term. Be sure to keep an eye out for that announcement.
Today is the last day to enter our current sketch challenge. Upload your project in our sidebar for your chance to win your choice of September kit and an opportunity to be our guest designer in September. :-)

I am so excited because I applied for a job with my company about a month ago and I actually got the job.
I think it is going to be perfect with my crazy busy life.
I will be working nights and have weekends off. Wahoooo!!!
I cannot wait to start.
I am so happy to have a day off.
School started for me on Friday so I will be spending my day getting my class assignments and such all organized. I will also try and spend some quality time with my kids. Working 53 hours this week didn't leave me much time to spend with my kids. :-(

Today I would like to welcome the winner of our July sketch challenge
and our guest designer for August, Sandi Pressley.
I am Sandi Pressley and I am so excited and honored to be August’s Guest
Designer here at Artful Delight. I am having so much fun working with the
August card kit I can barely contain myself! I live in sunny Florida just
5 miles from the beach with my wonderful and supportive husband David. I
work long hours as an inside sales associate for a roofing and building material
supplier. I am originally from the Chicago area (Go Blackhawks!) and my 2
sons and 4 grandchildren still live up there. I miss them terribly but
scrapping their pictures, and life moments helps me feel closer to them.
That is how I got started scrapping 6 years ago. I love to create cards,
traditional layouts, Project Life pages and some off the page projects.
Wreaths, banners, altered frames and gift boxes/tags are some of my favorites to
create. I love photography, junking, going to the beach and watching
football and hockey. I am a loyal fan and root for my Chicago teams.
I love the color aqua and anything nautical especially anchors. I scrap in
the early evening and the weekends. My hubby and I like to travel....there
is SO much to see and do here in Florida so between our travels and my
grandchildren I am never short on pictures to scrap.
I had a couple days off while I got my kids situated with school and now I head back today.
Oh how I wish I was a stay at home mom again.
I sure did take that time for granted when I was one.

Oh the first day of school was so emotional for me.
Tony and I got all caught up in the chaos that was going on it the school grounds that we managed to lose track of our youngest. There were so many people and so many kids it was crazy and Max just freaked out that he couldn't find us so he walked off to the parking lot. Thankfully people know our kids, saw him and brought him to the office.
So in all that crazy, I didn't get to see Lil Tony off to class or Isabel off to class. I have never been more scared in my life though not being able to find Max. So I was uber emotional about that, then when that all calmed down I began to feel empty not having Isabel at home anymore. I felt this pit in my stomach and I couldn't put my finger on why.
The kids all had great days.
Just to give you a small idea of how crazy the playground was.

This picture is Isabel in her red shirt and pink book bag looking very nervous.
I hope it is better tomorrow.
